I didn't get a gate up however, because the fencing was too short, I waited until we did Nicholle's garden so I'd have an open package of wire, to rig a gate up. So the 3 days there was not gate, two of my green beans got snipped up by something. Needless to say there is now a gate up. Don't ask what Micah was doing in there, no idea.

Garden Update 4/25
Here are the newest shots of the garden. We got our chicken wire fence up. I planted some green beans because they were getting too leggy in my house.

I've got Marigolds (apprently they detract rabbits) around the edge (seeds anyway). and there are probably 14 green bean plants (YUM!) 2 Zuchinni plants, 2 cabbage, 5 jalapeno's, 5 cucumbers, 6 green peppers. I'm going to be going to the farmers market for mature tomato plants which will go in that unwatered are you see below.
I found the cutest weather vane at Jo-Ann's yesterday for 1/2 off. So I picked that up and hung my new windchime Tim found for me on it. I also decided that I couln't just "call" it my Lucky Penny Garden. It needed a sign.

Spring Zoo Trip
So we headed out to the zoo yesterday. It was so nice out. We went up to the "Family Farm" exhibit and it was my "Come-on-let's-get-rid-of-our-place-so-we-can-move-to-the-country" subtle hint to Tim. :) He got a kick out of it. It has such a cool set up for the Zoo goers. Plus the neat thing about this time of year is all of the baby animals.
I've posted pics of the zoo before but I'm not sure if I have with the farm. so I'll just stick with these shots. Enjoy.
More Easter
