Hi everybody!
Not sure who all reads this but I profusly apologize for not updating sooner.
So much has happened since October.
Crazy work schedule and all that jazz...
I've gone down to 1 day a month to work as their head merchandiser. So basically all I have to do is go in the store, play in the cases, and make them look nice. SWEET!
Tim found out that he finally has approval from the state to test out for his Journeyman's license! Woo Hoo. They were yanking him around saying that the 5500 hours of experience he'd brought with him (proof and everything) from Idaho did not count and they would only give him credit for only about half. Luckily after a long conversation and plenty of pleas, we're approved. He'll probably take his test in the spring sometime.
We've started our own homebusiness working off of Ebay and Amazon. This is one of the main reasons I've come home. Tim needed my help and we're not even going to discuss the help the house needed. :)
Kids are wonderful and growing like weeds. Samie's doing well in school even after a huge thing we had to deal with about a month ago with lying, cheating, and playing. She wasn't doing any of her work and skipping the lessons, clicking on the computer and checking them done. All the while she was playing around and not doing any of the work. *sigh* It's resolved now and all is well.
Micah is fantabulous and is turning into such a great little boy. He loves playing with all of his new Ben10 stuff he got for Christmas and Star Wars too. He also received, (him and Samie together, but mostly for Micah) a whole cooking kit and plastic food kit. He LOVES Food Network. I mean, granted I have it on alot here but still, who would have guessed he would have taken to it as much as he has. :) He "cooks" on the floor while watching Robin Miller, Tyler's Ultimate, and Sandra Lee, <--which he calls White House for some odd reason. His favorites are Paula Dean, Emeril and I think he has a crush on Rachel Ray. Generally when I'm in the kitchen cooking these days, he's right beside me wanting to help and asking me if I need to add parsley or basil.
Levi... oh sweet Levi. He's such a lazy little snot. He will be 15 months on the 19th of this month and is just finally attempting walking. He has cousins and friends who are the same age if not YOUNGER who have been walking since Thanksgiving. I know it's a blessing that he's not walking and gettin into everything but SHEESH KID! come ON! Anyway, he does great. He loves his bananas, he wasn't a monkey for nothing at Halloween. He munches Goldfish like they're going out of style. He's not talking quite yet but likes to say "Hey!" whenever you give him food. It's amazing to me the different personalites each of my children have. God is truely great and knows the master plan well, creating each little child so preciously themselves. I feel so blessed to have been given such great kids.
Tim and I are doing well. We'll be celebrating 8 years of marriage on the 28th of this month. Frightening! Doesn't seem like that long some days and others seems like 80 :)
We haven't heard anymore on the construction of the commercial area in our neighborhood, so we've decided to just ignore it for now and not worry about it. With the economy so low right now, we're pretty sure our home is safe for the foreseeable future. Not saying that we're going to drop thousands upon thousands of dollars into it fix it up, but we're not going to let it go to hell in handbasket either. That being said, I'm looking forward to painting this month and in the coming months, the colors are so drab in here and I need some change!!!
I'm going to post some pictures now, of which you'll all obviously see before you read this. So I hope you enjoy!
